Viden will report the vulnerability to you in the first instance and use responsible disclosure to notify the vendor as to the test sequence that led to the vulnerability.

Open penetration testing involves full knowledge and access to the system and closed penetration testing involves limited knowledge and access to the system. Open box testing allows for identification of more vulnerabilities and closed box testing allows for more realistic emulation of adversaries.
